1.1  Introduction


The Yacer TRDP-Gateway train protocol conversion gateway, provides two TRDP redundant 100M Ethernet interfaces, one TCP/IP Ethernet interface and one serial port to implement protocol conversion between TRDP and UDP or serial port.


Industrial wide temperature, complete isolation and protection, compact size, suitable for train communication network.

●  Protocol conversion between TRDP, Asynchronous UART and Synchronous HDLC;

●  Protocol conversion between TRDP and CAN bus interface;

●  Protocol conversion between Serial and Ethernet interface;

●  Train Control and Management System (TCMS);

●  Train Communication Network (TCN);

●  Embedded development and application.

1.4  Basic Function Blocks

The basic function blocks are shown in the following figure:

●  ETH1, ETH2: Two 100M Ethernet interfaces;

●  S1, S2: Two RS-485 serial ports with isolation;

●  S3: Optional RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485;

●  S4: Optional CAN, RS-422 or RS-485;

●  X5 is the power connector.
