For air traffic control surveillance system applications, Nanjing Yacer has completed the finalization of three core products based on continuous R&D and practical experience: the HDLC-ATC Surveillance Data Communication Server, the HDLC-ETH Synchronous Serial to Ethernet Converter, and the HDLC-USB Portable Synchronous Protocol Converter.
These products fully support bidirectional conversion between HDLC and UDP protocols, with their synchronous serial interfaces compatible with various data formats such as secondary surveillance radar, primary radar, and ADS-B.
Currently, with the continuous growth of flight volumes in ATC surveillance systems and the widespread adoption of secondary surveillance radar Mode S, data volume has increased significantly, raising the demand for higher transmission bandwidth. To meet this need, this product series has enhanced its baud rate support to 250 Kbps, effectively fulfilling transmission requirements in high-data-throughput scenarios.
In the practical networking and transmission of ATC radar surveillance data, information is typically relayed over long distances via carrier lines and transmission equipment. Traditional protocol converters often only support fixed baud rates such as 9600, 19200, and 38400 bps, making it difficult to flexibly adapt to different transmission devices and carrier line conditions, which can easily lead to unstable data transmission. In contrast, the Yace product series allows flexible configuration of any baud rate within the 250 Kbps range, enabling seamless integration with various transmission equipment. This significantly reduces the risk of data loss and ensures stable and reliable communication links.
