The working mode of HDLC synchronous communication for trains
The HDLC protocol is a commonly used protocol for train communication. To reduce the number of signal lines, the NRZI encoding format is usually adopted.
The following figure shows the half - duplex HDLC communication of the train TCMS system or TMS system based on the RS - 485 bus:

Some trains also adopt the RS-422 full-duplex mode, as shown in the following figure:
