Train Ethernet TRDP Process Data Acquisition Scheme

Train Ethernet communication mainly adopts the TRDP Protocol. In some train application systems, it is necessary to acquisition the process data of multiple devices on the network.

The conventional solution is implemented by using a TRDP network card, but it has the following drawbacks:

● The number of Comids that a TRDP network card can support is limited;

● TRDP's PD (Process Data) is often sent via multicast, and the number of multicasts that a TRDP network card can support is limited.

Aiming at this application scenario, Yacer's TRDP communication products have launched the TRDP acquisition function, which has the following characteristics:

● It can receive data from all multicast addresses on the network;

● It can receive all TRDP process data on the network;

● The configuration is simple. It only needs to set the TRDP working mode to the acquisition mode, and there is no need to configure Comids and multicast addresses one by one.
