In some train application systems, it is necessary to acquisition the process data of multiple devices on the MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus).

The conventional solution is implemented by using an MVB slave station card, but it has the following drawbacks:

●  The slave station card itself will occupy an MVB device address, which may conflict with the addresses of other devices on the bus;

●  The number of PDs (Process Data) that the slave station card can support is limited.

Aiming at this application scenario, the MVB communication products of Yacer have launched the MVB acquisition function, which has the following characteristics:

●  In read-only mode, it will not send any data to the MVB bus, avoiding interference with the MVB bus;

●  It can acquisition and receive all PD data on the MVB bus;

●  The configuration is simple. It only needs to set the MVB working mode to the acquisition mode, and there is no need to configure the PD port numbers one by one.  

The MVB process data collected by Yacer's MVB communication products can be sent to the host computer via Ethernet, serial port or CAN port according to the requirements.
